A blurb from Beth O'Leary on the cover claims this is "pure sunshine". Actually, I found it rather depressing at times - and just like a lingering ghost, the plot has some unfinished business. That's not to say it wasn't a pleasant read. It was. But it wasn't wholly satisfying, either. If you want to while away your afternoon with a comfy but forgettable romance, this is the book for you.
